I attended the University of Wyoming and received my B.S in Exercise Physiology in 1995. I explored many avenues to go from there, all being in the field of healthcare. I happened upon massage therapy, which was a new frontier for me at the time. I remember walking by a massage room and being so impressed with the lovely aromas, the gentle music, the nice cozy atmosphere. When I researched about studying massage I was excited to learn you could dive into my favorite subjects at the time of anatomy and the workings of the human body along with so many other modalities that were brand new to me like acupressure, shiatsu, reflexology, touch for health, etc. I then began practicing massage after I graduated from the Utah College of Massage in 1996. I became Nationally Certified in Massage Therapy (NCTMB) and continued to explore many modalites over the years in energy healing, shamanic practice, myofascial release, craniosacral therapy, herbal medicine, reiki. I am currently California State Certified (CAMTC # 41617) in massage along with maintaining my National Certification. I also expanded my skills and explored teaching the 200 hour massage program to new students at the California Holistic Institute for 2 consecutive sessions in 2013. I have been living here on the central coast for 26 years. I enjoy the beautiful scenery, birds, and other wildlife. I currently reside in Cayucos with my beloved feline companion.
